About Us
Montage Theatre Arts (MTA) is a thriving performing arts charity with a proud 27-year history in South East London. Each year, we work with over 1,000 children and young people, developing their creativity, confidence, and life skills through inclusive drama, dance, and singing programmes. Our mission is to break down social and financial barriers to the arts and create a safe, inspiring, and welcoming community.

The Role
We are seeking an organised, enthusiastic Creative Programme Coordinator to ensure the smooth delivery of our classes and projects throughout the year. This hands-on role combines programme administration, event and volunteer management, safeguarding, and student support. You’ll be the friendly, reliable link between our young participants, their families, facilitators, and partner organisations.

  • Act as the main point of contact for students, parents, and facilitators.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards.
  • Manage event logistics, registers, resources, and reporting.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and work experience placements.
  • Support inclusive practices, including SEND needs and pastoral care.
  • Gather feedback for programme improvement and community outreach.
  • Contribute to performances, workshops, and community events.

About You:

  • Passionate about the performing arts and youth engagement.
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach.
  • Confident communicator with excellent people skills.
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings and Saturdays during term time.

Benefits:

  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Opportunities to contribute creatively to projects.
  • Hybrid working – Lewisham office, venues, and home.
  • We celebrate diversity and encourage applicants from all backgrounds, especially those under-represented in performing arts and youth education.
