Lead Financial Advisor – Customer Services Directorate
Location: South Lewisham, London (with flexible/hybrid working options)

Phoenix Community Housing is seeking a dedicated and experienced finance professional to join our finance team. In this key role, you will take the lead in providing expert financial advice and support to managers and budget holders within our Customer Services Directorate. Your work will be critical in guiding budgeting, forecasting, and resolving a wide range of finance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic financial guidance and support to directorate leaders and managers.

  • Lead the preparation and production of subsidiary statutory accounts and manage the annual audit process.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making.
  • Analyse and interpret complex financial data to deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Ensure all financial processes and reports meet internal deadlines and regulatory standards.
  • Line manage and mentor an Assistant Management Accountant, supporting their professional development.

About You:
We are looking for a results-driven individual with:

  • Proven experience producing statutory accounts and leading annual audits.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and the ability to present and interpret data effectively.
  • A proactive, deadline-oriented approach to work.
  • Leadership qualities with experience managing or mentoring junior staff.
