About the role
As the Production Planner/Scheduler, you’ll be responsible for production planning and scheduling of fittings and packaging supplies. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining efficient operations, supporting supply chain needs, and ensuring customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules for molding, assembly, and Friatec work centers
• Set priorities using planning system inputs and maintain accurate work orders
• Monitor capacity shortages, excesses, and potential back orders
• Communicate service interruptions due to equipment, mold, or quality issues
• Support supply chain needs for fittings produced in Charlotte facility
• Order and track packaging supplies with proper documentation
• Prepare reports on downtime, scrap, inventory, and performance variances
• Uphold ISO, quality control, and safety standards
• Participate in daily production meetings and maintain collaboration across teams

Qualifications

• 1+ year in manufacturing scheduling (MRP environment)
• Working toward APICS (CPIM or equivalent) certification preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO 9001 standards
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills
• Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing, and inventory systems (Kanban)
• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives

Working Conditions
Split between office and plant environments with physical activity (lifting 25–50 lbs, standing, walking). Must adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying priorities.
