Join us at Kew and help connect the public with the vital science of plants and fungi.
We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Interpretation Manager to help shape unforgettable, world-class visitor experiences across our gardens and digital platforms. In this role, you’ll blend science, horticulture, art, and heritage to engage and inspire audiences while increasing understanding of the essential role plants and fungi play in sustaining life on Earth.

What You’ll Bring:
- A strong creative vision, excellent storytelling instincts, and the drive to deliver engaging interpretive content.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, collaborate across departments, and meet deadlines and budgets.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in natural/environmental sciences, horticulture, botany, museum studies or a related field.
- Significant experience creating science-based interpretation for diverse audiences, grounded in cultural heritage interpretation and visitor evaluation best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific information into engaging, accessible content for the public.
- Experience developing a range of interpretation or public engagement tools – from on-site displays to digital experiences.
